At Lulu Blue, protecting your privacy is paramount. This privacy section is intended to help you understand how, when and why we collect information from our customers when they are on our site, and exactly what we do with that information.
Secure Shopping
Shoplulublue.com is a Monster Commerce merchant, and our store is hosted on their servers. Monster Commerce uses industry-standard SSL (secure sockets layer) protocol, which ensures that all credit card and other personal information sent over the internet is encrypted, and therefore secure. (Note: Encryption using SSL is industry-standard for protecting information traveling over the internet, and although it is extremely difficult for others to intercept the information being sent when SSL is used, please be aware that there is no way to guarantee 100% data security.)
The Information We Collect From You, Why, and How We Use It
Order Information
When you place an order from us, we will ask you to provide your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information. This information is used in the processing and fulfillment of your order, which includes providing your name, address, and telephone number to a third party (only our shipper, and for shipping purposes ONLY). Your personal information is stored ONLY if you register on our site, and even then, is used only for order processing and fulfillment. We will never sell, rent or otherwise share your personal information with anyone without your consent. Your email address is used solely to send order confirmations and/or updates on order status. If you request to be added to our mailing list, we will use your email to contact you regarding special offers and other goodies which we think that you might be interested in. If at any time you choose to stop receiving these email newsletters, you can always unsubscribe. We can’t stand sorting through emails that are unwanted, and we respect that you don’t want to either.
Gift Orders
If you place an order with us that will be sent as a gift, we collect the recipient’s name, shipping address and phone number to help us process and fulfill the order. We will not use their information in any other way.
Contests/Blog Entries/Nexus Involvement
Anytime that you opt to enter contests, submit blog entries or be involved in one way or another with the Nexus part of our site, we will collect information from you. All of the information collected will be used solely for the purpose of contacting you regarding your involvement in the abovementioned. There may be times when, with your permission, we will use your first name only and the name of the state that you reside in, to identify you on our website. If you are under the age of 18, it is legally mandatory to get a parent/guardian’s permission before you provide ANY information about yourself.
Other Information
Lulu Blue uses “cookies” to help us serve you better while you are shopping on our site. “Cookies” are files placed by your web browser on to your computer’s hard drive, which assign a unique identification code to your computer. Cookies are necessary to enhance your shopping experience, store items in your cart, expedite the checkout process and help us to serve you better (see next paragraph). Although stored on your hard drive, cookies do not enable us to collect any additional information from you besides the information that you knowingly and willingly provide to Lulu Blue through the process of placing an order or registering on our site. Most browsers are automatically configured to accept cookies, but if you have turned on the function that doesn’t let your computer collect cookies, your shopping experience may be limited.
While browsing our website, we may collect other types of information which help us to improve our site navigation, search functions, site design and overall shopping experience. This information may include: the name of the website you came from, search terms used to find products within our site, keywords entered in a search engine, which pages on our website you visited, and your server’s IP address (for example, "comcast.net). Sometimes we will share the abovementioned information, which has no personally identifying information, with a third party for the purpose of helping to better understand site usage, products sold or an aggregate pattern of our customers’ activities (in relation to shopping, searching, entering and navigating) while browsing our site.

If you decide you no longer wish to receive communications from us, you can remove your name from our mailing lists by either:
