The Story of Metal Pointus Jewelry
Once upon a time, a young Parisian girl named Marie received a gift from her sweetheart... a pretty silver teapot that glistened in the sun. “So you'

Hundreds of years later, an old craftsman came across that same teapot at an outdoor Paris market. Although it was cracked and worn, he knew he had found a treasure. He took it to his shop, melted it down, pounded it, pulled it, bent it and shined it and slowly transformed the metal into several sparkling pieces of beautiful jewelry.
Pointus jewelry is the result of a similar transformation of vintage silver, copper or pewter. Every year, old teapots, flatware, fondue pots and more are melted down by Parisian artisans to create stylish necklaces, bracelets, pendants and rings in ultra-modern shapes. Each sparkling design is a dazzling work of art and carries with it a little bit of mystery. Leave it to the French to make recycling look so tres chic!
